
Active performer and teaching artist, Joseph Hart is a graduate of the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and The Hartt School at the University of Hartford, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and a Masters in Trumpet Performance, respectively. He is currently a member of the Philadelphia Chamber Brass as well as the Philos Brass Ensemble. In 2011 Joe became the Director of Education and Community Engagement at the Symphony in C in New Jersey, where he manages the Music Matters! program. As a pedagogue, Joe has taught with the El Sistema inspired program, Play On Philly, since its pilot year in 2010. Joe has performed with such ensembles as the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, Symphony in C, The Ionisation Ensemble, the Hudson Valley Chamber Winds, and is an on-call artist for Madison Square Garden where he performs the National Anthem for various events.
